noah and fisher were everything!!!

yee-freaking-haw!!!!!! the way this book had a hold on me had me downright feral. small town romances already have a hold on my heart but when you add an age gap annnnnnd an ex-boyfriends dad, well stick a fork in me because i’m a goner.

noah and fisher were just superb. lordy lord they were just fantastic. they had scorching chemistry and the connection between them was just amazing. i absolutely loved them and their playful banter had me smiling from ear-to-ear. i couldn’t get enough of them and just wanted more, more, more.

here with me was a fan-freaking-tastic small town cowboy romance packed with so much forbidden goodness. and let me just tell you, the audiobook was a blessing to my ears. Tor Thom and Maxine Mitchell did such an exceptional job. the southern accents were impeccable and that southern drawl that Tor added gave my whole body tingles. do yourselves and ears a favor and listen to this audiobook.

i can’t wait to return to sugarland creek and for magnolia and tripps’s book, i desperately need!

YES YES YES ! There is nothing I love more than a small town, sexy cowboy romance + this book delivers all of that and MORE ! Fisher + Noah’s chemistry was off the charts from their very first meeting but the deep dive we then get into these characters lives, past traumas + struggles throughout the story just makes you absolutely fall in love with them . There is so much drama weaved perfectly into this story that you can’t stop reading until you have figured everything out ! I can’t wait to see what Brooke has in store for us with the rest of the Sugarland Creek series + the Hollis family .

Age Gap, Ex Boyfriend’s Dad

I read this book first and then listened to the book again. These narrators sold the story. I seriously loved hearing the characters come to life. The humor sold it for me. I love this book so much!

Forced Proximity, Age Gap of 22 years, ex boyfriend’s dad, romantic suspense, found family, close family, small town… seriously all of the best tropes!!!

I highly suggest this book… please listen to this book it’s so good!

Noah and Fisher are absolute goals!
their chemistry is off the charts. the pull is too strong to keep them apart. They are such amazing supports for each other.

the narrators are perfect as Noah and Fisher!

Excellent Age-Gap Romance!

This is the first book in the Sugarland Creek series, a small town romance. Noah and Fisher's story is well written, and engaging. Fisher is very handsome, and protective. His past is heartbreaking. Noah is beautiful, smart, and strong. They are perfect together. I liked the romance, the mystery, and the little suspense. Noah's family is amazing. This is an excellent forbidden age-gap romance. Tor Thom and Maxine Mitchell did an excellent job bringing this story to life. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to more in the series.
