Cute, Sweet, Unique

I loved this book so much! It was a different kind of romance story while still fitting the “norm”.

One bed, forced proximity, good friend’s little sister.

But Zander is a big, buff, broody former Navy Seal and Kelly Jo is a country music good girl who is just a shade on the naive side.

Zander helps her come out of her soft naive shell and see the world a little more clear while teaching her to harden herself/stand up for what feels right to her.

She helped soften his edges and see what real love feels like. He grew up parents who adored each other and he watched his older brother whom was equally stoic and closed off as he is find a healthy relationship after a bitter one with his children’s mother and Veronica also walked out on an unhealthy relationship right into Austin’s world. Turned both of their perspectives topsy turvy.

HOWEVER Zander didn’t fully appreciate that until that feeling hit his own gut and reality started to sink in.

I LOVED that she said “I love you” first ❤️❤️

This beautiful book was narrated by Patrick Zellar and Amanda Stribling! They were so perfect for these characters it’s not even funny!

I was a little unsure about Patrick at first but he just settled in and for like a second skin.

I loved this so much! This was the first I heard of these narrators and they did so good! I loved the accent of the female she was perfect for Kelly’s character.

I loved the book so listening to the audiobook was a treat. Wonderful narration.

Zander and Kelly (Pixie Heart) are total opposites. Enemies to lovers. A reluctant body guard to a Nashville singer. It’s all a delicious, fun, romantic story.

Great love story

This is a wonderful addition to this series. It can be a stand alone and not miss anything. Kelly and Zander were perfect. I'm looking forward to the next book. Patrick Zeller and Amanda Stribling were fantastic narrators.

They had me at the 1 line chapters

It was the 1 line Xander chapters for me.

I’m still listening and this is an early review but I know my rating won’t change.
