He walks in late on the first day of class. A frat boy with an attitude. He tries to charm me with a smile, but he’s acting. There are layers underneath his facade. and I want to peel them back. But he’s my student.

Forbidden. I’m already a criminal, but I won’t risk my career? Will I?

Then I find out he’s in danger. He comes to me for help, and I can’t resist him. I will save him, and if I’m willing to open my heart, he might save me too.

Dee’s Grade: A

The narration was fine for the book.

The book is very insta everything. Dante is not as wild as his brothers but it’s enjoyable.

This is typical Silvia Violet style but, while I usually enjoy her men, these two were lackluster, and I couldn’t wait to get through it; the two books in this series just haven’t hit for me. (I also discovered that I intensely dislike using the word “Professor” sexually.) There’s a lot of plot crossover from the first book of the series, as the events take place at the same time; I’d imagine it would be a little difficult to catch up with the bad guy in this one without having read it.

Plot: 2.5/5.
Spice: 2.5/5.
Personal Enjoyment: 1/5.

It’s fine.
