Kizzie McAdams spent her childhood longing to see beyond her secluded Blue Ridge Mountain home, but when her job as a servant in a landowner’s house results in an unplanned pregnancy, the excitement of her new life dissolves into alienation and heartbreak. I absolutely love this book! It has a redemption it has loved. It has God’s amazing grace everything about this book was just wonderful from the narrator to the character development everything about this was just so good. It was such a heartfelt story. It had all the elements that you want in a great book. I will definitely be checking out more of this authors work.

Finding your true identity-in people and God

This was a wonderful story of love and redemption. This is an endearing story about a naive woman, Kizzy who made some poor choices in her life and struggled with forgiving herself. As she draws closer to God, she finds where her true identity lies. Through that, she is able to discover true love with a man who truly loves her fully and for who she is!

I like that gods mercy of love ans forgiveness is weaved throughout the story..That we definitely must have self love also before we can love others. mistakes are forgiven. new beginnings given after much sinning is the ultimate gift from God.i really like the part where she is reunited with her family
