This is one of my favorites and I’m hoping to find more. The performance is amazing and loved it

Happily Surprised

I wasn't excited about reading Drew's story. He just seemed so arrogant. Even when Evie comes into the picture, he's still not someone I'd want to get to know. However, Stella Rhys knows how to turn those frowns upside down. The more Drew and Evie get to know each other, the better they both are. As usual, I found myself laughing, gasping, and even tearing up. The narrators were perfect for their roles, too.

Great kickoff to second half of the series

Holy guacamole. I can't believe I'm ranking this higher than Bad Boss since I'm biased to that office trope, but Evie and Drew blew this series out of the water. Their chemistry was so believable to me, and I loved seeing them slowly start to care and fall in love -- feels something of a dream. I can't believe how much I laughed and cheered with these characters. I'm so happy I pushed through this series to get here.

The narration voices of the story also fit these characters the most. I didn't feel like I needed to speed anything up like with other stories I feel narrationsnare too slow or too many awkward/technicla pauses. This did not feel the case.

This reads as a standalone but it's nice to see appearances from characters in earlier books. A fast paced, witty, steamy baseball playing fake dating romance is exactly what I was looking for and stumbled upon with this one.

Best one of the series so far

I might be biased since we are a baseball family but the character connects and real life issues make this one the most relatable and i loved it

Love her books !

Her books are so good … almost like reading a diary… which is exciting . I’ll never pass on her stories … I’ve never been disappointed. Steamy and sultry as always !
