This is a great set of books over thinking can be caused by anxiety which can also entering cause it's an anxiety and a times even insomnia.

Overthinking can be a problem for many people. It just leads to stress and unhappiness. This book is a great guide for minimizing stress and understanding what can trigger overthinking. I found the section on changing negative thinking especially helpful. It also has some great mindfulness exercises. Great book series to improve many aspects of your life.
