the romantic story is corny... the writing felt forced & over done

struggled to finish, but a decent way to pass time

Good story and well developed characters

As usual, Kim Baldwin winds well written storylines around an adventurous journey! I found just the right mix of subplots, adventure, romance and excellent writing. An easy read, and just like Calvin, it took me away!

good action scenes

While I really do like this story, sometimes narration had a strange Cadence that distracted me a little bit. But for the most part, I really loved listening to this book.
