The references were amazing, the characters made me laugh, 10/10 would recommend to anyone who enjoys the genre and wants something wholesome

enjoyable read

It is very difficult to rate a book which is full of cliches, is kind of slow paced, and you know how it will end right from the start. But at the same time it is gentle, well written, witty, charming, cozy and leaves you with long lasting feel-good emotion. I will go with 5 stars because I had amazing time reading (listening) it.

It is a book that knows what it is, doesn't pretend to be anything else, and is just focused on the story it wants to tell. the characters are again, cliche, yet written in a way that endear them to the reader. It has (not so) subtle irony, witty humor, and it is just the right amount of sugar-y (for me, that is ;))

And as a bonus, I really laughed out loud on the puma check ;). That was unexpected, funny, and done just right ;)
Last but not least - the narrators are great!

Loved the story. The bad boy who is really the best, needy guy, and the knight princess heroine. fun and playful.

Best I've Heard on Audible

For starters, the story was excellent, I usually read garbage so it was nice to read something that was feel good but also had depth. Story was well written and characters were well developed.
As for the narration, it was awesome. this is one of the first stories I listened to on audible so it kind of set a high bar that hasn't been met since. Both narrators did voices that fit well with the characters and were able to narrate multiple people with different voices so it didn't all feel like the same 2 people with different accents

Long, funny, really enjoyed

Very different than what I usually listen to, but I really liked it and all the character attribute lists and announcements!
