Sage Poe had one goal for Bone Gap's annual Snow Gala: enjoy a quiet evening that definitely isn't a date with a handsome Sheriff. But when socialite Regina Kane drops dead at her own winter wonderland, Sage's plans melt faster than an ice sculpture in July.

Behind the designer dresses and crystal champagne flutes lurks a blizzard of secrets. There's Regina's perfect husband with his practiced smile, her prodigal daughter back in town with an axe to grind, and enough social climbers to fill a country club. Everyone had a motive, and everyone has something to lose.

Between dodging Aunt Hecate's increasingly unpredictable magical outbursts and pretending she doesn't feel that spark every time Sheriff Emmet Quill looks her way, Sage must untangle a web of lies as intricate as the snowflakes falling outside.

But someone at this gala is playing a deadlier game than social politics. As the temperature drops and the body count threatens to rise, Sage discovers that in Bone Gap's high society....

The higher you climb, the harder you fall. The brightest smiles hide the darkest secrets. And sometimes, the most dangerous weapon is a whispered word.

SNOW GALA. Where the elite meet...to kill.

When Sage Poe’s high school bestie pops in out of the blue for Bone Gap’s annual Snow Gala, her demeanor is “frosty” to say the least! Unfortunately, Sage’s shoulders aren’t the only thing being “Iced at the Snow Gala”! Engrossing and stunningly DIFFERENT, this one took me completely by surprise, and I loved it! The win, WIN, combination of outstanding writing and professionally perfect narration combine to impart a delightfully noir “feel”, as the story takes a dark, serpentine path towards resolution! Familiar characters mix delightfully with new, ALL beautifully defined, their dialogue truly resonating as REAL, beautifully narrated to sound authentically “in the moment”! I was completely captivated, completely absorbed into the world of Bone Gap, its inhabitants, their shenanigans and Emmet … oh Emmet, I’m getting there but I still want to pop ya my friend! I love the sisters, I feel for them, with them, and Aunt Hecate … no spoilers, but that old gal will forever have my heart! I am so incredibly invested in this series, this beautifully wonderful combination of spectacular writing and truly astounding, life breathing, breathtaking narration that all I can say is BRAVO and MORE PLEASE! FIVE stunning stars across all categories, I NEED more!

Bravo! Fabulous! Perfection! All Around STUNNING!
