Better Than The First

The first book felt like it was going in one direction and being dropped in the middle of chaos when it started out (that was the point) and was a little off-putting as the threads were coming together. This second book rounds it all out quite well.

Captivating storytelling

From the beginning we have been trying to understand Ren right alongside her. this book is a beautiful tale of revenge, mercy, love, hate, betrayal, forgiveness, broken hearts, and eternal happiness. The further she and her compatriots travel the more you learn about her past and who she truly is. The narrator is truly gifted as is the author. I can't wait to read more from her.
