Wish it was Duet narrates but still brilliant story

Keri lake books are filled with dialogue and world building. They are amazing. But sometimes they get a little slow. So I always suggest taking your time when reading a Keri lake book. When it starts to feel slow, take a break and read something else for a day or two. But don’t give up on her books. Everything in her writing is necessary to the vibe and the story. Not every book is meant to be devoured in one sitting. So just take your time and savor them. It’s worth it :)

I only wish it was done in duet narration instead of dual. But the narrators still did a great job regardless

Liked thus duology, but...

The storyline and the narrators were great, but these books didn't have to be so long. The MFC made way too many bad choices that only seemed to draw the story out. Enjoyed it, but it took way too long to tell the story.

Absolute True Love

the performance, the writing it's all just wonderful. I personally feel Keri Lake is a genius. she is a phenomenal writer. very few authors are capable of creating such intrinsic and intriguing works. I am so sad for having finished this duology. but I will await anathema and move onto salt and bone. here's to nightshade, and Keri Lake -- the BEST gothic romantasy author.

Outstanding

As the second book, it was fantastic. Lots of twists and turns and the right amount of spice 🌶️. It was a great follow up to Nocticadia.

My only dislike is that it’s over ); please more more about Ellion growing up & how they are happy all together!!
