Ok

There were parts that I really liked about this story and parts that made me cringe.

Both were full adults but acted like 18 year olds at times.

I cannot tell him what I do.
He won't stay.
I am not as good as her dead husband.

These three phrases are about 35% of the story.

Even with all of that and the brutally clipped ending, I will read the next book in the series.

Slow Start

The book was slow to start as the main characters had to be developed in order for the reader to understand the relationship. After the second or third chapter the book flowed better. Good performance

Implausible with Potential

I have mixed feelings about this book, although I enjoyed most of the characters and the small town setting. However, I thought 2 things were highly implausible and unappealing.

First, Ella and Cooper had an intimate moment when Ella was dating Cooper's best friend just before they got engaged. Yet Ella was supposedly happily married for several years until her husband died of cancer and she reconnected with Cooper.

Second, I thought Ella's career as an erotic romance writer was unbelievable, considering that she was too timid to tell her conservative family about her writing. Also there were several references to bondage, suggesting that erotica must involve violence and humiliation.

loveeeee it

I loved the speed of the story and the characters. if left wanting answers for the side characters which will hopefully have their own story. the story was easy to follow. I like that their obstacle was their own struggles not some outside source.

Loved this book

This book made me feel like I was part of it. The characters seemed real with real life issues.
