I’m rather used to the crazy cases, because let’s face it, most cops can handle the run-of-the-mill with their eyes closed. I’m only called in when the situation is weird or they need to solve the case fast.

This case is a little of both.

Someone’s attacking women as they get off of work, hitting them in the back of the head. What started as a case of battery has steadily built up to homicide. With three murders, six victims, and no leads, the Clarksville PD are desperate to catch the assailant. But there’s no real leads for us to follow, either, and for once my eyes can’t really help.

A madman running around attacking women is bad enough, but the police are demanding answers we can’t give them, and they’re not taking no for an answer. It’s pushing us all past our limits, and frankly, I don’t know what’s going to break first: The case or Donovan’s patience.

fun and intetesting

I am new to this writer. she has a great way to tell a fun interesting story that you have not read by someone else out there highly suggest you give this series a try. nice job

Great listen

This is series is turning into one of my favorites. The narrator is so good and the writing is done well. I wish that it was a little more clear about whose point of view it’s in but otherwise it’s a great listen!

Enjoyable

This book was a little different than my normal read. I thoroughly enjoyed the story line, the characters and the performance. The sex was hot and steamy but not the entire premise of the book. if you're looking for something fun I would highly recommend this book and I look forward to trying the next in the series.

Good story

I love the characters. my only complaint is the switch in narrators. This is a problem with audio book series. The narrator of the first book sets the character personality almost as much as the writer. This story was good enough to get past the personality change caused by the change in narrator so I will continue with the series. In the past I've given up on audio book series where the narrator changes mid series. I hope you keep this in mind with future book series as you are an interesting writer and I have enjoyed many of your books.

This title has been on my wish list since I signed up for my account but I put it off since the first book wasn't available through Audible.

Now that I solved that issue, I finally purchased this second installment and they are as fun and enjoyable as I thought the series would be.

I plan on purchasing all of the audio books as they are released as I am sure they will all be equally as delightful.
