Rhett's inheritance of the gorgeous Victorian house was expected.

What was not expected was:

  • Two familiars
  • A house full of ghosts
  • Magic powers?!
  • A new boyfriend, maybe, possibly, please, and thank you

Now, if he could just figure out how to handle everything, life would be peachy.

Rhett and Calix are very cute together, I loved reading their story. I would love for this to become a series, because I want more.

The narrators have done an excellent job.

Loved it!

This was such a cute story. Wish it could be made into a series. It’s going into my favorites.

Wish there was more

Some plot holes of course, but honestly it's not that important to the storyline. It is such a cute story and I really could see this becoming a little mini series, exploring these characters and their world more.

Sweet story and would love to have some more

As always, AJ knocks it out of the park. This short story is the cutest. I enjoyed the narration quite a bit as well.

Short, sweet, and a smidge of heat!

I love this author, and these characters are just as compelling as I’ve come to expect. But she really needs to upgrade her editor, sadly. The estate lawyer is asking if the heir is the only next of kin only after changing the title to the house over to him? A character has a successful business just because his boss disappeared and he took over, no one is investigating his disappearance? The others would involve spoilers but really, this book could have been a lot better (and longer) with a little more attention. That said, the narrators do a great job of bringing the characters to life, so much so I don’t regret the purchase.

Sweet listen but plot holes and gaffes
