Reacher protecting Gasper‘s family

Love the twist left and right throughout the book. What completely surprised about reacher being there to protect Gasper’s family. The description of the instructions he gave Maria were perfect.

I love how Reacher is essentially Babayaga!

Love this narrator - more Jack Reacher, please?

Too short- the stories are just too short. When I buy Lee child’s books of Jack reacher they go for a long time and since I’m listening I like them to go for a long time. These books are great, but they are just too short.

Disappointing; Not a full book

This was a short story at best. Very disappointed with this installment of the series. The story concept was solid, but underdeveloped. Seemed as though Capri phone it in for this one...or was rushed to produce. Total of 3hrs 11mins; very underwhelming. At least this was way more enjoyable than book 24 (IMO).

***SPOILERS - Kinda***

Gaspar is the main character for this one, basically no "Suzie Wong"; cool concept of having him rush to save the day w/o his old partner. Many of the main characters in the other books were not here...lost opportunity. G goes on a mini-manhunt of his own to help Jake Reacher...he saves the girl only to find a massive backstory to the original problem; then after one chase sequence and gun fight the book ends. NO development of the (predicable) backstory; NO further development of the girl / Jake; it was just a cliffhanger that was confusing....so much more could have been done with G as the main character, missed opportunity here! :(
