Lo Summers's life is falling apart.

Weston King is ready to start over.

When he moved to California six years ago, he thought it would change the trajectory of his career. And it did, but in the past few months, thanks to some bad press, he's felt hollow. There's been something missing, and Wes knows exactly who it is. He expects to have to beg Lo for another chance, but when the photo of them goes viral, it's like opportunity has been dropped in his lap. Convincing Lo to date him is daunting, but convincing her to marry him for health insurance and a place to crash? That might be easier.

Falling hard again seems inevitable, but their friendship barely survived the wreckage last time. Trying again could end in disaster, or . . . it could be the best thing to happen to either of them.

Should they just go with it?

Couldn’t finish

The story was okay. It was boring. Two hours before the story ends, I had to stop listening. Even the reader cannot save it.

SO GOOD!!!

Could not stop listening until the book was finished. Closed door romance, humor, and a happy ending. 10/10 recommend!!

Friends to lovers cuteness

This book was fun, sweet, and narrated perfectly! It’s my first by this author, and I’ll be reading/listening to more!

Story line was fine, but...

The performance was so full on angst that I looked back a couple of times to see that it was indeed described as a romantic COMEDY. The female reader missed the memo. No playfulness. No lightness. Which is sad because the story is good and could have been fun with seriousness dropped in the appropriate spots. However, it bordered on monotone and sadness. Arrrrggg!!!
The male reader was better, but not great for this production.
Sadly, I've heard better reads coming from Virtual Voice... and I'm not a fan of that.
