Cassie loves Mav

This wonderful story by Jessie Gussman comes alive, as expected, with the narration performance by Jay Dyess. It is a pickup story bringing forward the youngest Stryker brother, Maverick, aka Mav, to tell his love and life story. Spoiler alert… Cassie has loved Mav since “forever” and the “ghost” of Sweet Water Ranch patriarch, Mr. Edwards, plays a part in bringing these two opposite people together.

It is a joy to see how Ms. Gussman develops characters and their personalities. Watching Mav Stryker develop from the first Sweet Water, North Dakota series to this story from the third series from ND, is sweet, poignant, and encouraging.

I LOVE Jessie Gussman’s books!! I LOVE Jay Dyess’ narration performances of them.
