The twists and turns throughout the book. I never would have thought of the ending. Great book.

Okay listen / story

I would’ve liked to listen to an audiobook with actual people. The AI just lacks the emotions and mispronounces words.

In regard to the story, Zaylie frustrates me. Here we have a woman who has a job in finding missing women & has no self-preservation instincts. She’s constantly putting herself into situations that could be avoided - go off by herself without another person or her dog. Like, why would you do that knowing a kidnapper/killer is taunting you.

Story was good

Virtual Voice sucks. The inflection is all wrong. No emotion at all & the mispronounced words throw it all off.

Fluff

Sophamoric story line and writing with awful AI narration. Glad it did not require a credit.

The awful AI narrator

Story had promise but at times hard to follow and at other times, extremely boring. What turned me off the most though out of everything as this was the first book in the series so I don’t really consider it awful, The AI narration has got to go. There was so many long pauses that I almost thought the recording stopped, a lot of clicking noises in the background, and no change in vocal pitch. Everything sounded the same regardless if it was a tense situation or a normal conversation. My suggestion would be to skip this book just for the simple AI narration.
