loved it

if I thought the first book had me on the edge of my seat I was wrong. I couldn't stop listening. I was held captive with this one. so many twists and turns. I absolutely loved it. I want to hear more of them. absolutely loved it.

Terrible

Don’t waste your time on this book. Tons of plot holes, thin character development, and rudimentary story lines.

on no the protagonist got dumb :(

I was absolutely hooked by the first book in this duology but unfortunately it seems that the first 2/3 or so of this story's conflict relies on our protagonist becoming a moron. It's one of those "plot only works if a misunderstanding that could easily be resolved in a single conversation remains in place" situations. We as the reader know that she's wrong long before she figures it out, which becomes very frustrating after the first couple of chapters.
