Inspired by their hero, Walt Williams, three retirees decide to give Lady Justice a helping hand.

Although their intentions are good, these septuagenarian sleuths get crossways with the Kansas City mafia, dangerous drug dealers, and the Russian mob.

Walt must come to their rescue, putting himself in harm’s way to pull their eager, but aging, fannies out of the fire.

Follow the action as Walt and the geriatric gumshoes prove once again that good guys can triumph over evil, no matter how old they are.

Another wild ride with Walt and friends! This episode is devoted to three septuagenarians who want to make a difference but don't think things through and are unprepared in nearly each instance, thus requiring a bailout by Walt and others. They do learn a little from each mistake as they tackle things like drugs sold near schools, a meth lab, slavery, and more. In spite of the danger and serious topics, there's lots of laughs!
I need audio, and George Kuch continues to be excellent as narrator!

I actually really enjoyed this Lady Justice book, much moreso than the last few I've read/listened to. I found it hilarious that there are three people who have been inspired by Walt and friends and try to do the same as Walt.

The one thing that I really dislike is the author insertion, whereby the main character keeps talking about the author. To me personally, it really pulls me out of the book and reduces my enjoyment.

Robert Thornhill continues to amaze me with this wonderful series. I love how Walt is evolving from his retirement from the Kansas City Police Department to an amazing PI. Lady Justice series is so engaging and has wonderful characters. Each book is a standalone listen and yet has so much woven into the story. I love how the author ties together things that are current events along with deep issues (sex trafficking in this instance) and humor. I can't recommend this series high enough. The stories are thought provoking, humorous, and astonishing in how they come across. George Kuch continues to be the voice of Walt and crew. His voice and timing fit perfectly. I will definitely listen to more by this talented author and narrator.

Great Story, Great Narration!

The best thing about this series is that there is so much action packed into one book! Yet they still all fit together. In this book Walt meets a group of seniors who want to copy him and be crime fighters. They get into some trouble with the mob & from there so many hijinks ensue! At the same time the stories told here are real life issues which don’t often get much attention (such as sex trafficking). There are serious topics that are handled with care & mixed with enough humor & mystery to keep it light!

A great listen!

Wonderful new adventures of the geriatric set. Lots of wisdom and laughs make this a thoroughly enjoyable "read".
