Very clear and easy to follow. Does a very good job of summarizing the importance and elements of what Lent is and how to connect to God on a deeper spiritual level.

This book gave me a much needed understanding of the practice of lent and the differences in the liturgical and non traditions. I appreciate the author’s sharing if his personal experiences to help me understand the reasons and purpose for these traditions and practices.

Awesome book

This will be the first time I will be practicing Lent and this was such an amazing book to introduce me to the discipline. Esau does a great job of narrating and it is very easy to listen to.

I learned so much from this book. There was historical facts and simpe practical application for daily living.

Good surprise read

I am Roman Catholic, and I clicked on this audiobook thinking it was a Catholic book. Even though it is not, I still found it to be an excellent commentary on Lent.
