Outstanding

This audiobook was exceptional. It was very well written. It was fast-paced, action-packed with intrigue, and twists and turns. Marcus Barton's talents as a narrator were evident.

Fast paced and lots of action!

What do you have when a former military investigator turns elite security op? Why a smart, unstoppable force named Jericho, oh, and he’s also super sexy. That’s why social worker Rachel turns to him for help when she starts receiving death threats. To be fair, the pair grew up together and have history. Will this Jericho allow the wall around his heart to crumble and find his forever love, or will a bad guy put an end to that hope? Lots of action…aided by a cool AI program. Fabulous narration made this book ‘unputdownable’. Looking forward to the next book!

Great Story

Lone Star Showdown: Hard Justice Book 2

I have a thing for romance novels, and some people say it's because of how I've grown up, others have said it's just me. I say, everyone likes their own thing. It doesn't matter if it's a mushy love story, a historical romance, a Shifter Paranormal romance, a sci-fi romance or a militia-romance with a woman waiting for her man to come home from battle.
In this book it is a cross between the last one I said and a suspense driven romance, because they don't know who or what they are running from, but that fear or dread is always behind them. Though Jericho and Rachel broke up years ago, they never truly separated, and that is the sad truth of the story. Neither of them can see the truth right under their noses. The fear of losing the other to the killer is the biggest fear and burden they both carry around.
I look forward, to now going back and listening to the 1st book and to the coming books. Thank you so much Author Delores Fossen for sharing your writing with us.

Rekindle love

Lone Star Showdown by Delores Fossen is an amazing protect old love and rekindled after reuniting. Marcus Barton did an amazing job with the narration, he brings the story to a new level. Jericho after leaving the military he works for an elite private security company. When his job is to protect Rachel who is an old love from someone who wants her dead. Will the old feels be rekindled? Will Rachel survive everything? What will happen after everything is finished? Will Justice be served? Not too predictable.

The story kept me interested with the twists and turns and wasn’t too predictable in the end. The person I suspected was guilty wasn’t in the end.
