Wonderful continuation

This book was even better than the first in my opinion. The development of their love and their characters was brilliant. I loved all the twist and turns this book took me through, they were extremely clever. I can't wait for the continuation.

Satisfying (and yes read the prequel)

I enjoyed this book more than Book 1, and I liked Book 1! The narrator does an excellent job keeping her character voices distinct which makes for easy listening. I have to admit I find the main female character’s personality annoying - I can’t deny there aren’t people like her. Getting a better understanding of Creon is just worth the read alone. I love how their relationship has developed! Looking forward to the next book!

Slow burning but damn well worth it

The first book was slow burning, the writing and the way the author weaves perfectly chosen words was the reason I didn’t give up on it. AND boy it did not disappoint. I could not wait for the second one to come out, I immediately pre-ordered it and flew threw it. Cannot wait for the third installment!
