Balanced story telling.

A well grounded novel, the charictors aren't deep, but the action is up there. The unseen " firsts" are true boogymen alians of the first water. The natives of the world humans want to settle have been crushed into two types. The brain slaves to "the first," and scattered tribes of resisters on the woods.
how, when, where will the Earth humans fit in here?

Great action

Good character development. This whole series feels like “Soldier” the movie continuation in the best way possible.

Great Characters

Having created such great characters and am looking forward to enjoy the future stories! I have enjoyed the options of first contact. On a different note it shows a different way of enjoying!
