Tragedy Brought Them Together, But Love Bound Them Into a Family

Love Comes Softly, a novel made into a Hallmark Channel Original Movie by Michael Landon Jr., has introduced millions to Clark and Marty Davis, caught in a marriage of convenience that over time turned into deep mutual respect and love. In this sequel, they now preside over a growing family in their little prairie house. But as they reach out to those in their frontier community, they discover that love is not limited by the size of a dwelling.

I enjoyed all three audiobooks in this series (Love Comes Softly, Love's Enduring Promise and Love's Long Journey) and hope the same narrator will continue in this series. I found her voice quite easy to listen to and especially appreciated her differnt voices for different characters.
The best way I can describe this book (and the whole series for that matter) would be the feminine and Christian equivalent of many Louis L'Amour novels. With vivid descriptions of life on the frontier - I came away with a deep appreciation for women's contribution to frontier life survival and for the value of faith in each character's lives.

A Pleasurable Listen

I really wish there was an option to listen to this book from a different narrator. It takes a lot for me to complain but the wet mouth sounds almost ruined it for me. I have always loved this series and it bums me out to have a negative experience with it. If I am listening with my headphones, it is absolutely awful. I have to put my phone on speaker to listen and it’s still gross but not as bad. 5 stars for the book, 1 for the narrator.

Good story, narrator not my favorite.

I've read this book many times. I really enjoyed just listening this time. Lovely story

Why would audible put three books of the series on their platform and not the whole series? If you don't want to follow the story of the family all the way through to the end, don't start it.

Don't listen to this!
