Great love story with some thrills

I enjoyed this series. It was a great love story with some thrills and surprises.

This was amazing, exciting and funny. Easy to follow. Not too much drama or crime. When I heard the names of the streets I laughed, from Los Angeles. I hoped Merc and Puma would get together ❤️🙏🏿🙏🏿🌹

When real gets real: the growth of love

I absolutely love this series. I really tugs at the heart strings with the enemies to lovers vibe. The whole cat and mouse energy was so intriguing that honestly I couldn’t put it down. What stood out most to me was how real and relatable the characters felt. Watching puma and Mano go through their ups and downs, both individually and together may their story hit even harder. They each had their own lives, their own struggles, and they didn’t need each other, but the attraction was undeniable. Seeing the attraction grow into something deeper, with both of them learning, adjusting, and choosing to make the relationship work, was beautiful. I also loved how the second book continues to build the friendships and family dynamics from Tyson and Normadeen’s storyline. It makes the whole world feel connected alive. And now I cannot wait for book 3 with soul and Nia. Overall, puma, and Mano storyline was emotional, relatable, in so well written. Kami Holt is phenomenal with a pen- definitely a great read in a series I recommend to anyone who loves urban fiction with Strong character growth and real romance.

SO SO SO GOOD!!!!!!!!

This is the second book I’ve read from Kami and I definitely will read many more. I read book one and instantly got hooked ….. I knew Puma and Murk’s story was going to be very interesting. The banter between the two was hilarious and the cherry on top was my favorite male narrator Winston James, the goat.
