The Carter Cartel returns in electrifying tales of love, betrayal, and redemption.

Malik Carter, the youngest of the Carter brothers, finds himself heartbroken, shattered, and bewildered after one fateful night shatters his world and leaves him and Bria estranged. Events spiral out of control pushing them apart to confront their demons alone.

Meanwhile, Avery, a promising realtor finds herself unexpectedly drawn to the wounded Malik.

Secrets spilling out of her own closet add another layer of complexity to the already tangled triangle. As tension rises, secrets are revealed, and enemies lurk in the shadows. The youngest Carter seems to be facing his toughest challenges. Will he come out on top, or will this load prove to be too much for Malik Carter?

I enjoyed all 3 books in this series. The third book, Malik’s book, I did get irritated about Malik’s relationship with Bria though….the back and forth got on my nerves a little. And I didn’t like how Avery/Ava was treated badly by her husband for Malik to treat her like he did, after all she’s been through. If Avery/Ava was portrayed a little tougher in regard to taking Malik back every time, and so easily, I probably would have liked the book better. I like them together. I just don’t think that she made it so easy for him to come back all the time. As sweet as I think Malik is, he still did her wrong. HOWEVER, the ending made up for it. I enjoyed it overall.

Enjoyed it!

Malik is such a sweetheart. This man is exactly what women are looking for. The fact that he continued to provide for Bre and her selfish self speaks volumes. These brothers are so amazing and we need men like this. I always love Nicole Small narrating. Keep up the good work.

Bre was so very selfish! She thought of no one but herself the entire story. Milik was a real man for continuing to finance her life when Bre walked out on him. Love hurt everyone in this story but it also put them back together

Love hurts
