An ancient civilization on Mars and a secret organization on Earth seeking global conquest: How are they related?

Immediately following the Malor invasion, Malia and Jaden Kwan have left Earth with the Othali, seeking a habitable planet in the distant reaches of the galaxy. But as they approach Mars, the ship's engines fail. Entering orbit to make repairs, they discover evidence of ancient, technologically advanced life down on the surface. Malia and Jaden join the team going down to investigate.

But there is a traitor in their midst who kidnaps the twins and brings them to a clandestine organization back on Earth. They need the twins' powers to achieve global conquest. Can Malia and Jaden eradicate this group in time to save humanity?

So far I've like this series a lot...

but once again, like so many books it has, what I call, a stupidity problem...

When you are being chased by someone who is trying to kill you and you get the upper hand and don't kill them you are really stupid...this kind of idiotic storyline just ruins the the entire series.

I still recommend this series so far

Good but...

Interesting story, easy to follow, we'll narrated. A good continuation for the Kwan saga.

Interesting story,

Overall it's a decent story but I hate that the black guy (alien) named Bomani is a traitorous drug dealer and that Jaden is incredibly dumb and weak power wise. I understand that Jaden is very young but many of the things that he does not know are things that a lot of people know before they are twelve years old. He asks stupid questions most of the time and doesn't seem to understand a lot of things. I really wonder why he is even in the novels. So basically the black man(Bomani) is bad and the black teenage boy(Jaden) is stupid and weak.

Painfully dumb twin brother

Just not engaging… all description and more stupid people triumphing .. there whole story goes nowhere… just barely enough to get you to but the next book

So so at best

loved the 1st book but couldn't get past chapter 9 in this one. The narrators voice sounded like a 4yr old girl and everything seemed to be a learning lesson on space. Thats enough of this series for me, to bad cause I really like the 1st one.

horrible
