Worth your time and treasure

I first came across this author thanks to his Makalang series of which he has seven books out the first four are also available as audio. I greatly enjoyed that series. now waiting for the last book of that series to be written and released I went in search of what other books this author has written. That brings us to Master of Thieves. I think the author did a fantastic job with this story as well. As of the time of this review the first book is only available in audio but the second book is out in the ebook format. I loved the story and well I can't wait for the second book to get the audio treatment as the narrators in my opinion also did an amazing job, I'm afraid I won't be able to wait that long. As soon as I'm done writing this review, I'll be reading the second book. the takeaway is that I think even if you're not familiar with this author it'd be well worth your time and your dime to give this story a chance.

Always give it a fair chance

One thing I have learned is to give a book a fair chance and to recognize when it's the reader's fault and not the book itself. I had just come off a 4 book binge when I first started this book and was not impressed by it. I had to listen to a different book first then come back to this one. What a difference! I really enjoyed this book. I was able to get past myself and really dig into it. The writing style was a little than others in the genre but good and the story grabbed me. I'm starting book 2 immediately and will give a more in depth review when I finish that one.

Sexy tight story.

The only real complaint I have is the length of this novel. It's a really tight story so you go from beat to beat to beat. It honestly reads like an episode of White Collar, only Neil has a harem... Which I absolutely loved.

I definitely would prefer a longer book though. I hope the author flushes something out and gives some things some time to breathe or they start rolling each episode with two pack to be worth the money.
