The story is great until the girl allows the man to hurt her and forgives the guy once he comes begging. Make the guy work harder for her.

This is an ok romance if you are 20-30. After 30, I hope you have grown up enough.

Great preformance

I enjoyed the narrator and some of the side characters. Can’t wait to see if I still like them in the other books.

This book feel a little flat to me. Sometimes certain relationships (family) contradicted what they said at the beginning. If you know your love one is being hurt even emotionally then you have their back all the way. While the heroine stood up for herself some what I still she was a doormat. I didn’t really feel in chemistry between the main characters. I’m all for a complicated man but I just found him to be immature and irritating.

Nothing but drama

What made the experience of listening to Maybe This Time the most enjoyable?

Even though I read reviews saying the listeners didn't like all the drama I really enjoyed it. It was over the top every time but I found it humorous!

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

The most interesting aspect was probably the situation with Mia and how she tried to trick Reed into a relationship. The least interesting was Jade and her situation.

Which scene was your favorite?

When Reed and Summer first got together.

I felt like I had whiplash most of the time listening to this book. Reed would say "We can never be together" and a page later would say "I can't live without you!" He would scare away all the men interested in Summer because she was "his" and then when she questioned him about a girl he was with he said "It's none of your business - you don't own me!"! That got old pretty quickly but luckily he came to his senses early enough that I didn't have to make a doctor's appointment!
