Great Audiobook!

This was a very christmasy read! We get the grumpy anti-christmas Rowan and the holiday loving matchmaker Isla. I love a good grumpy/sunshine, and loved seeing Isla melt Rowan's grumpy side. There was just enough christmasy fun to work for this time of year, but not an overwhelming amount. This was a really cute read, I adored the two of them working through traumatic dating pasts and find happily ever after. Bonus the audiobook has a full cast too, which makes it all the better!

Lauren Blakely is one of my go to’s for hockey romance, so a holiday hockey romance was like an early Christmas gift!

Isla & Rowan, were adorable together and so much fun to watch fall in love. And the way Isla immediately bonded with Mia, made them just the sweetest little family. This one was full of so many good Romance book tropes, alllll the Holiday magic, and an epic cast of characters including cameos from so many of our faves from the Love & Hockey series!

Highly recommend adding this one to your Christmas TBR! I listened to the audiobook, and not only was it read in duet narration; there was an entire cast of incredible narrators to perform the entire book! Highly entertaining, I enjoyed it so much!!!

Loved the preciousness and love that grew between the newly bonded family. Plus you can never go wrong when the sparks fly and the spice happens.

Cute but incomplete

This book had high expectations to live up to after Holidate & while incredibly cute, seemed a bit rushed and incomplete. The cast and narration was AMAZING, and was fun to have the tie ins from other books. The fake dating trope didn't really make sense to me as they had crushes from the get go & the romance scenes were rushed and lacked real intamacy ie slapping her face with his 🍆 The narration made the book worth it for me :)
