One surprise pregnancy. One billionaire landlord. One coin-operated miracle of a love story.

Jamie Vale’s life is held together with quarters, caffeine, and sheer stubbornness. He’s doing fine—really—juggling late-night laundry shifts, his kid brother’s medical bills, and the secret he’s just found out he’s carrying. (A baby. There’s a baby.)

The problem? Said baby belongs to Theo King. As in: crisp-suited, spreadsheet-loving, heir-to-the-block Theo King. The guy who definitely wasn’t supposed to show up for the ultrasound. Or buy prenatal books. Or fix the vending machine. Or smile like that at Jamie’s belly.

But when Theo chooses the baby over billion-dollar meetings—and chooses Jamie again and again, even when it’s messy, even when it’s hard—Jamie starts to believe this might not be a disaster after all. It might just be a beginning.

Featuring: surprise baby snuggles, community newsletter drama, one (1) cursed power outage hookup, meddling neighbors with hearts of gold, and the softest, fiercest kind of love—the kind that stays.

For readers who believe in cozy kisses, grumpy-sunshine parenting duos, and the radical magic of being chosen exactly as you are. Not omegaverse but there are alpha and omega.

I actually genuinely enjoyed this book. Could not stop listening to it. Love the fact that it was a nice mpreg without all the omegaverse nonsense that comes with it. The casual admittance of a male pregnancy and nobody bats an eye. I love the relationship development and the respect of boundaries on a level that is so beautiful it’s almost unrealistic.

I was about to exit the moment I heard it was recorded using a computer-generated voice, because it was not my cup of tea, but I’m glad I stuck around till the end!

The performance of the AI narrated was great, but the story was disappointing. It sounded like an adopted story for a M/M characters with some of the development in the story not being thought of carefully.
