Hmmm

Everyone was too tough. She was correct. They lived in a different world. I’d been dead in the first paragraph. I’m glad of the ending. I was not sure who would be alive.

Slow to start but…

Th is is the second in this series and I have enjoyed both. But they start off slow.

Good story & narration

Enough twists to make you want to know the ending- and not necessarily the ending you expect. Good narrator! Deals with a lot of not so nice issues, so you have to tell yourself it's not real (although it could be ).

Good book

Compared to the first book our detective still has no intuition what do ever, but I love her anyway. Glad she’s kind of controlling her aggression - using it as needed. I enjoyed it.
