I really like Louis Lamour

exalent book I really like Louis Lamour navals I started reading them while on deployment while I was in the Navy it helped make the time go by faster

David Strathairn is the best narrator hands-down

he's very good at capturing the mood and flow of the story expressive yet soothing voice

Early Western survival and honor, hard lessons

Classic Louis L'Amour imagination and discriptive writing about the trials and tribulations of a tough and determined mountain man and his struggles against nature, the Mojave Desert, and outlaws. I personally appreciated reference to familiar desert challenges, mountain ranges, and numerous towns described as viewed by horseback in the 1800's. Good reading but also very entertaining in audio version.

Another great Sackette

Great story and story tell did great. Louis L'Amour's books are great western stories. The Sakette series is my favorite.

Oh! The Suspense!

Captivating to the very end. The reader knows how to fluctuate his voice for the different characters in the story, and his delivery is a masterpiece.
