A book everyone needs to read

Money matters is a guide for your financial future. It handholds you from start to finish. I wish I had this available to me when I was starting out my marriage. I highly recommended reading and implementing the steps and plan your financial future today. I like the fact that it is easy to read yet full of detailed information. Read it today. Start panning and enjoying life.

About to merge lives with someone who is very particular about his finances, I have been looking for tools to help me navigate this next stage of our lives, so this book couldn’t have come at a better time. And it didn’t disappoint! Besides giving lots of useful information on things that us regular folks usually have very vague idea about, and actually making sense out of them (various financial options, their applications, costs, things to consider, etc.), besides all of that Veronica also gives plenty of practical advice about how to start the conversations, what questions to ask your partner (and yourself for that matter), how to set healthy expectations, and healthy boundaries when necessary to ensure smooth sailing into major stages of a relationship (dating, moving in together, marriage, having a baby, etc.). I got a lot of helpful advice which I certainly will be applying, and I can tell you I feel much more confident now about the subject overall. I very much recommend this book.

A must read

To be honest, I’m not by any means a financial expert and all in all I have pretty limited understanding and knowledge of anything beyond checking acct; savings acct and 401k. Nonetheless, this book really resonated with me. The language was simple and easy to follow. I picked up some valuable insight on various types of investments and I feel better prepared about the prospect of moving in with my significant other. The prompts, scenarios and conversation starters are awesome for facilitating open discussion. Would highly recommend for everyone.
