The people in the story..

Did not like virtual voice but loved the story. Love all the Montana books & the people in them.

Great story & characters. But no to virtual voice narration.

I’ve listened to all the prior resting warrior series and really enjoyed each book. But they had human narration and that’s a big plus. The virtual narration is technically quite functional, but I’m not a fan and I’ll spend my Audible credits on books with actual voice actor narration going forward.

The AI readers are not great yet.

Having AI narrate this book was fine in theory, but AI isn’t ready for all the nuances of intonation and homonyms in context.

Virtual Voice

I was enjoying the storyline but I don’t enjoy listening to the virtual voice. Too monotone and not expressive especially when changing characters.

The story line was great.

I don’t live the virtual recording it takes too much from the story. I hope the next book will be audiobook.
