I really enjoyed this book. good action and good romance. it was very believable. narrators were nice. I like books with children. children make books funny and more lovable.

Story of strength and perseverance

Really enjoy this story. Evelyn has been through so much trauma in her life, but she never gave up. Loved how she kept trying to restart her life not only to save herself, but as not to let anyone else get hurt along the way.
Lucas is every woman’s dream. He strong, protective, good looking and would do anything for the people in his life. Most of all he sees only the beauty in his partner.
Love the idea of Resting Warrior Ranch a place for those suffering from PTSD to find peace and safety to heal and recover. Also to train support animals.
I always enjoy Emma Wilder’s performance and this was no different.
This was my first experience with Connor Brown.

Wonderful story

Love this series! Started with book three and then listened to book one. Will listen to book two today and then the rest of the series. Always love these broken people who have found each other and bonded together to form their own families. So much love. 💕

so good I couldn't stop listening. I loved how real this story was written.

Mixed performance, story not for me

This book has quite a bit of darkness in it. I'm not a fan, so this book isn't for me. There is suspense, some action, and some romance. It does have a happy ending. The female performer was definitely not for me. I could barely listen to this. The male performer was very good.
