Great Mystery!!

I have a few of Gerri Hill's audiobooks and paperbacks.
I really enjoy her writing style and her character's. They are character's you fall in love with.
Finley's, an ex-cop turned P.I. usually has small cases referred to her through contracts with businesses to perform background checks on new hires. She also gets a lot of cheating spouse surveillance cases. Fin, not one for one night stands, meets Rylee at a bar and the attraction and pull toward one another is unlike anything they have ever experienced. Rylee wakes up in a hotel room with Fin, panics and leaves quietly. Rylee looking for work goes to a P.I.s office begging for work. Just happens it's Fin's business. Both skirt around that one night and don't talk about it both thinking it meant nothing to the other. Even though Rylee has no P.I. experience Fin can't turn her away. A case of a cheating spouse turns into so much more and body count starts to add up. The why and what those willing to kill for is the mystery. Dee is Fin's good friend who is still on the police force and is working on the first murder when her Captain starts pulling her back and having her newer partner take the lead. It is quite the ride!!
You won't want to stop listening!! The narrator did a wonderful job with all the characters in this book!!

Wonderful characters!

The friendship between the three main characters is so good and real. They're tentative, cautious, and willing to try. Each person brings their own story and issues to the table, and all are shared in a thoughtful and mature manner. The connection between Fin and Rylee is so strong, sweet, full of longing .. and worth the wait. I love this book.

loved this! the 3 female sleuths are great

but we need a sequel! what happens next? hoping Gerri Hill is in the works, this would be a fun one to follow!

MOONLIGHT AVENUE

This is my new favorite book written by Gerri Hill. I am looking forward to seeing a sequel to this novel in the future. I sure hope Ms. Hill has one in the near future. It just seems like it is crying for a continuing story with these wonderful characters and story line.
