absolutely loved this

so I absolutely love this series! it kept you on the edge and kept you waiting to see what would happen next. unfortunately this will be the last one that I listen to. the author had made the decision to change the narrator for the third book and he is very low grade for narrators. one of the things that keep audiobooks shining is a good narrator! as I have said many times in the past a narrator will either save a book or kill it. in this case unfortunately because of the author's choice to change the narrator or not being able to get the narrator that they had before has unfortunately killed the book. I will not listen to it so I'm sure the book is wonderful but the narrator like I said is awful. so when coming to listen to these books beware that after this book the third book that's coming out in January isn't going to have the same narrator.

My god can Alexa Piper write an amazing story. Each word is carefully crafted to create a unique world where her characters can find love, but truly do suffer on their way to it.

Having the incredible Michael Ferraiuolo narrate Soyer and Amory’s second book is just magic!

As the Moonlight Diner becomes even more pivotal in the Phoenix Immortal series, Moonlight Phoenixes is the map of Soyer and Amory’s continuing journey through magic and found family, vampires and assassins, and when on the correct path, love.

Still struggling with the voices and name pronunciations but does not stop this from being my favorite MM series to date.

Lacking but Still a Good Read

Let me start by saying I really enjoyed this book but it was….missing depth. I am left feeling like I read the abridged version of what could possibly be awe inspiring book. There are so many unanswered questions, holes and see through plot.
All in all, I was intrigued and at time captivated. I just wish there was more.
