Mitch has a problem. His buddy has been hiding a starship from him.

Mitch's mediocre life has just taken a turn for the worse, so his buddy tries to cheer him up by showing him a secret starship. Unfortunately, everything goes south when hostile aliens arrive. In an effort to save his buddy and the starship from the aliens, Mitch does the obvious thing: he accidentally warps hundreds of light-years away.

Marooned in a distant star cluster, Mitch is forced to deal with a snarky teenage AI, a rogue auto-pilot, and a beautiful alien soldier who's ready to steal his ship at any moment—so she can fight an oppressive military faction, of course.

Will Mitch simply use the starship to return home? Or will his attractive, though slightly frustrating, new co-pilot convince him to help the struggling Resistance movement?

Starts off great...

This story had some much potential but I could only make it into chapter 6. Mitch is a moron! I don't thinking the writer could make him any dumber if he tried!

Now if I can just find the refund button!

The MC is a bumbling moron

This guy can barely function on earth and is even worse on other worlds. no thinking ahead concidering being in the absolute dark. Lets just ask for space police and leave the ship without considering anything at all. I would of had a thousand questions and concidered gear needed and what the ship may have and not have before even looking for a place to park and shop. comunications would be at the top of the list of questions for the barely helpful AI. finding out everything I can so I'm at least sorta prepared for interacting with an alien species. This is just the first hour of the book and it just gets more ridiculous. sadly as much as I hoped for a fun but intelligent book, it's more geared toward young teens.

fun new adventure in space

Ever dream of space travel. This story imagines what that might look like. Enjoyed the adventure.

this is my kind of sci-fi

not too violent, swear words, blasphemous, and not disturbing. good story, good narration. likable characters.

a great story can't wait to hear more from this series

the story was good very evenly paced and love the Narrator just wish they had a female to do the female voice and Ai but her did a good job all together on the different voices
