Great guide to maturing in marriage

Wonderful explanations about the common myths about marriage, why they are myths, and how to have a really great marriage. Straight forward explanations from a seasoned professional about the reality of marriage and how to really make it better. I love the 3 appendixes and how they allowed me to take action to make myself better, after the book helped me to realize that I'm the only one that I can really change.

Different approach to the marriage conversation

I enjoyed the deeper topics of marriage. it is more than a book about improved communication.

Get the (audio) book, it will give you good insights that you want and need to hear

I've been a fan of Dr Allen and his SMR podcast for several years. I was putting off buying the audio book, just my typical procrastination, but now I'm very glad to heard it. I'll be listening to it again, repetitively. Bottom line, don't procrastinate.... Get the book!

PS, the audio was clear but seemed a little bit flat. Meaning, it didn't seem to have the depth or fullness of other Audible books. Doesn't matter. Get the book just the same.

PSS, As I think about it, I'm going to get a hard copy of the book too. Having things in physical print often helps referencing and sharing, ie with my wife.
