Are you constantly feeling undermined and exploited in your relationship? If so, keep reading...

Am I the one who's overreacting?

If you ask yourself this question on a regular basis, you aren't alone - and you aren't going crazy.

Although all marriages have their ups and down, there is nothing normal about feeling belittled and unwanted by your partner most of the time. You may already be realizing there is something abnormal going on. Maybe, you've noticed your partner constantly guilts and shames you into certain behaviors or seen how different your friends' marriages are.

Although 1 in 200 people have narcissistic personality disorder, it is rarely talked about and relatively unknown as a risk in relationships. Narcissists are master manipulators and can deftly weave a web of lies and misdirection so confusing you begin to question everything. Even yourself.

Life with a manipulative spouse might feel impossible to navigate. You're constantly walking on eggshells not to upset them, and you can never seem to please them. This is not your fault.

Millions of people have gone through similar experiences and found hope in the validation of their experiences, and you can, too.

In Narcissistic Wife, you will discover:

  • The three types of narcissists and how to identify whether they are overt or covert manipulators
  • Personal stories from relationship survivors that paint a picture of what life with a narcissistic spouse really looks like
  • Why characterizing your partner's tactics can empower you to take back control by targeting specific ways they treat you
  • The nine signs of a narcissistic spouse and what to do if you see them in your own relationship
  • In-depth explanations of the different ways narcissists attempt to control and dominate others
  • Why it is so easy to fall under the spell of a person who cares only about themselves
  • Direct advice on how to heal and recover from a toxic relationship from people who have escaped the influence of a manipulative spouse themselves
  • And much more...

They say love isn't easy - but that doesn't mean you should accept suffering for the sake of protecting a relationship. It's time to show yourself love and compassion and free yourself from the suffocating grip of a narcissistic partner. Trust your instincts and start on the journey to feeling free and whole once more. Don't let your spouse dictate who you are.

The material itself is incredibly valuable, but the person reading it is kind of soulless and mispronounced so many words that it amazes me that they actually allowed this to be used. Please check this book out if you need help and just patiently understand several words will be said incorrectly

Material is good, lots of mispronunciation

The author did a great job of explaining narcissism as a whole, as well as breaking down the different types and patterns associated with narcissism.

Enlightening!

The positives:
The information is presented in a clear and direct manner. It is very good information, it is informative and accurate.

The negatives:
Sometimes the book sounds like a college term paper, not a professionally written study.
The narrator comes off as a bit whinny and I think this adds to the college term paper feel.

The only really bad part of the book is that at times it feels like it is written by a female narcissist that is using it to attack men that have been victims. I say this because the majority of the narcissistic behavior examples that the author gives are based on thw male in the relationship being the narcissist and the wife/ girlfriend being the victim. This feels a lot like the narcissist accusing the victim of being the narcissist. This book was supposed to be written for men, they didn't have to use these examples.

the content of the book is very good I certainly love the points that are being made and will likely get a physical copy if it's available. I've had this in my library for a while and didn't listen to it initially because was trying to seek other methods for overcoming what I was going through. here again I'm at that same point and decided to let's really listen to this now. It is hard for me and my tisms to listen to mispronounced words and upward inflections: I get distracted from the content. Similarly was pronounced "simarily" and "adoration" as "ador-tion" they may be typos in the transcript
