I think this is the first time I have liked the narrator but not the story and it’s the first time I didn’t like a Debbie Macomber story. Carrie was beyond insecure and needy and no Mae would ever stick around for that level of crazy

First book from Debbie that I didn’t care for

I have never “read” such a poor Debbie Macomber novel. Shallow plot and really stupid characters with weird motivations, especially the main character. I’d give it zero stars if I could.
The narration was fine, I don’t want to diss her.
