He played the field while she played it safe

A confirmed bachelor, Cliff Howard drives an expensive car and dates stylish glamour girls. But one look into Diana Collins's soulful brown eyes has him thinking about car pools instead of the fast lane.

Try as he might to resist, Cliff is soon forced to admit that this lovely widow and her rambunctious young daughters could grow on a man. But can they convince Cliff to give up his playboy ways for domestic bliss?

Until about the last 1/3 or maybe 1/2 this was a wonderful story with great people. Then it was like everybody started yelling at each other. I don’t like that at all, the mother should have held her tongue more as should the kids, especially the older one Joan. If it were me, I don’t think I would’ve gone ahead and married Diana, but then I guess Cliff was really in love with her. let’s hope their life’s all went really well!

Pretty good family story

I liked the narrative, plot, and characters, I liked how wholesome they were. Sweet story!

For years, I have loved Debbie Macomber books. This book is so awful that I questioned whether she actually wrote it. I did an internet search on when this book was written. It was indeed written by Debbie Macomber...in 1988. A disservice was done to this reader by having it added to the Audible Catalog.

I wasted an audible credit buying this book

Waste of credit. Book is not worth your time. Maybe if you were in high school. Having read this Arthur other books. This was a great disappointment

Very juvenile.
