Great Story

No Good Deed by Rosemary Reeve pulled me in immediately. This book is both a standalone listen and part of series. I have listened out of order and haven't had any problems. The author wrote some captivating characters that have determination and grit. Harmony is my favorite. Noah DeBiase brings the characters to life. He inflects the right emotions.

Wonderful second book in this great series

This is the 2nd book in the Jack Hart series. I have read book one but feel this book would do well even if you have not. A fast pace mystery set in the lovely city of Seattle. Jack and Harmony find themselves having to help out there dear friend Mark a police officer. Mark is in need of their investigative skills as well as there lawyer skills. Rosemary Reeves has done it again a great book. The book is narrated by Noah DeBlase who is wonderful. Can't wait for the next one.

I love the character Jack Hart and this series!!

This story was disturbing on so many levels. Injustice is never comfortable but the author turned the tables on what we think is injustice and it's a police officer who gets railroaded. It was a tough but well-written listen and just when you think you know what's going on, you don't. Love that!

I can't say enough about how much I loved this narrator. He's just got it!

A light mystery with great characters

This is a light mystery, strong in plot and pacing with likable, fully developed characters. And Noah DeBiase hits just the right tone to draw out these characters with his spot-on narration. Plus, there's some pretty good courtroom drama here as well.

Excellent legal thriller...

This is the second book in the Jack Hart series. The first is All Good Things. I did listen in order but they can be listened to as stand alones.
The protagonist (Jack Hart) is an associate at a large prestigious law firm. His girlfriend Harmony also works there. His best friend Mark is a detective with the Seattle PD. Jack and Mark have known each other since childhood and their days in the foster care system. Now it appears that Mark needs Jack to be his attorney. He’s been arrested for the murder of his neighbor and the evidence is is all there. And all too perfect. The only way to prove Mark didn’t commit the murder is to find who did.
The courtroom scenes are realistic and the story is believable. There are twists and turns throughout the entire story. Even Jack’s unruly large rescue dog provides some comic relief as well as adding to a critical part of the story.
Noah DeBiase does an excellent job narrating.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
