Fun read with interesting characters

Good plot, good narration and an interesting array of characters. I enjoyed it during my daily exercise. It made the time past quickly.

great book and continues Jake's adventure. can't wait to see more from Bobby Cole great read. make sure to read the dummy line and moon under foot.

Short Read

Interesting story with good character development but not up to.par with some of Cole's other more suspenseful tales that keep the reader on edge. At the end it felt almost like a short story.

Loved the series.

It is difficult writing book reviews because everyone has different ideas on what makes a book enjoyable and/or entertaining. A narrator can make or break a book. This narrator was great! I really enjoyed all three books. When I don’t find myself rolling my eyes at dumb story lines, skipping past ridiculous sex scenes where the lovers must have invented orgasms, all the main characters have gorgeous bodies (like overweight people can’t have great sex) or women always need a man to rescue them, then it is a pretty darn good book in my opinion. These hit the mark. I would recommend and I would listen to them again. Now I am off to find more books written by Bobby Cole and/or read by this narrator!

Not great literature, but light and fun suspense

This is my second Bobby Cole novel. The first was The Rented Mule. Old Money is Book 3 in the Jake Crosby series. The series is set in northern Mississippi. Old Money is a worthwhile listen.
