My name is Storm Redfield: Navy Commander, Special Forces.

its ok.

looking past the obvious "man out of time" trope the story is engaging and relatively fun. it a good set up for what is to come in the next book. that said, its a little to much "set up" in some places and it doesn't really have a good hook that really pulls you in like a first book needs. you could probably read the it, put it down, and never really need to read the next one. additionally the flow of the book narrative is kind of weird sometimes with the over use of "I" when it doesn'tseem necessary. it just a little jarring like someone talking about themselves in third person.

Great book

Great book. Fast moving and building the backbone of a series. Sapphic characters but only one sapphic s*x scene. Not a romance. More an enemies with benefits so far. Looking forward to book 2.

Outta this world

I have been a fan of this series since reading on kindle and thought it was awesome. The characters are well developed and come across as fully developed people. Red and Sanchez dealing with this new world that they are thrusted into comes across as genuine and avoids tropes and waisting time with denial. The give and take between Red and Stella has it moments of fun and seriousness in equal measure. Abby Craden's voice adds the depth and emotion to this story that it deserves and makes it memorable. I cant wait for the next installment
