Hi, I'm Radhika Mehta, and I'm getting married this week. I work at Goldman Sachs, an investment bank. Thank you for hearing my story. However, let me warn you. You may not like me too much. One, I make a lot of money. Two, I have an opinion on everything. Three, I have had a boyfriend before. Ok, maybe two.

Best-selling author Chetan Bhagat, writing for the first time in a female voice, brings to you One Indian Girl, the heart-warming story of a modern Indian girl. Now if all this was the case with a guy, one might be cool with it. But since I am a girl, these three things I mentioned don't really make me too likeable, do they?

As always, Bhagat is good with engagement and pacing but the overall narrative was lacking. I hated the female protagonist. So I ended up frustrated by the end of it. Brijesh I liked. I would not root for them coz I think he is too good for her sorry ass .

Main character was unrelatable

Excellent story telling yet again by Chetan Bhagat. Witty and thought provoking from woman’s perspective. Laughed on few occasions

I loved the story, the plot twists, the narration and the characters. The story started a bit slow for me, and I must admit I almost gave up after the first hour, but then the story pulled me in! The main character was charming, likable, and smart. Some of the story was predictable, but certainly the end was not for me. I really enjoyed this book.

Very entertaining, funny and great story line

Ending is not that good, but I enjoy the first-person narrative style. Simple vocabulary, easy to understand. It’s one of those stories where one woman having to choose between 2/3 guys and end at the end doesn’t even choose either one but herself, to explore the world.

Ending not that good, but engaging narrative
