An epic talent

One for a road trip

A fantastic gripping narrative with as many twists and turns as you would expect when skiing high in the mountains. Fantastic voice over and interestingly written from the perspective of the two main characters. Well worth a listen to on a long road trip, as I did.

great story and great pace

great story and great pace, amazing characters, thrilling. Stephen king was right, I think this was Ruth Ware's best book so far and I've read them all.

Disappointing- both the narrative and narration

I did not finish listening to this audio book for a number of reasons - the story line was repetitive, drawn out and became tedious while the reader's differing voices never really convinced and often proved irritating. The avalanche that started the drama could well have been caused by the constant thudding of hearts, shaking bodies and plummeting stomachs - I lost count of the number of times Ware used these descriptions. Jokes aside this was a disappointing audio experience.
