Not at all what I was expecting. I love me some Alpha man but this was over and above what I normally read. Loved it.

Overlord

It was a good story. I did not like that the men felt the need to physically abuse their mates. I was hoping that the love they had for their mates would allow a more softer way of showing them their displeasure with the women’s behaviors. I give this book a five star rating.

Book 2 !

Oh heck ya. Garett and Sloan’s story, Garth is much sweeter than his brother but still a major Alpha. Sloan is funny and strong as well. Okay Mr.Calihan ! Off the charts narration, he can move from characters with ease and doesn’t seem to mess with the female characters, he can do it all.
This was given to me for my honest review. Well I can’t say enough how much I loved it!

Passionate and Hot!

Delta James has created a futuristic world where alpha wolf shifters rule their packs and fight to keep them safe. I love how Ms James develops these characters. When Gareth finds his true mate, he is shocked to discover that she is a rebellious, feisty human. Needless to say, he has his work cut out for him. Sloan has no desire to become a wolf shifter so this will lead to some humorous and dangerous situations. I enjoyed watching love finally overtake these two. This is the second book of this series so we get to revisit with characters from the first book. This book can be read as a standalone, but I recommend that you listen to/read them in order to have a better understanding of the characters.

Jack Calihan is an outstanding storyteller who allows the listener to escape into this dystopian world. He gives the characters distinctive voices and makes us feel the emotions that the characters are experiencing. I love his deep sexy alpha voices. I highly recommend this Audible book. Delta James writes some of the best sexy scenes.

This series is so interesting. Great alpha males, strong characters, and a strong story. Book 1 was amazing too. Cant wait fir book 3
